Version 18 Features List
Upgrades to version 18 should be available in mid-February
We are please to announce the release of PRO Landscape Version 18. Here is a short rundown of the major features added to v18.
IMAGE EDITOR
New Images - We have added more than 1000 new images, many of which were submitted by users. That takes the image total to be over 10,000 images.
PRO Landscape Companion for iPad - Yes, that's right. Version 18 users may send their Image Editor projects, Favorites and Proposals over to your iPad for your customer presentations. Once on the iPad you will be able to move plants and modify your designs on the iPad. The companion app will be available pending Apple approval and placement on iTunes. Watch for it in iTunes in the next month.
Expanded EzScape Tools - More options on the EzScape toolbar like Create a Proposal, Database and Price Editor, Enable Lighting, Save to iPad and more.
PDF Proposal Booklet Creator - Allows you to combine your project picture, quotation, cover page and more into a single PDF file. What this means is that you will not need to email 4 or 5 different PDF files to a customer for review.
Lighting Enhancements - Improved lighting shadowing.
PLANNER
RealDWG 2012 - Keeps you up to date and allows you to open AutoCAD 2012 DWG and DXF files.
Fill Symbols - Simply right click on a symbol and select Fill Symbol, you will be asked select a color and gradient fill type. See below under column 1.
Fill Symbol Cluster - When you create a clustering of symbols, you can now drag a color fill and drop it on cluster and apply a gradient effect as shown on column 2 above.
Distance and Area Indicators - Now when you draw a polyline such as a foundation wall and paver, you will see an indicator as shown below which shows distance from previous click point and the angle of the line. If you draw a paver rectangle, the indicator shows the area of the paver.
Offset Edge/Create Offset Edge and Paver Tools - The Offset Edge expands the usage of the Paver Edge Tool. First, you will draw a Paver Edge to represent one side of a paver pathway. Next, you will use the Offset Edge tool to create a duplicate line and offset it the distance set in the Edit Bar. You will then use the Create Paver From Edges Tool to convert the 2 lines into a pathway. Sounds much harder than it actually is. The Create Offset Edge and Paver Tool adds a pathway parallel to another structure such as a driveway.
Irrigation Layout Tool/Irrigation Coverage/Create Sprinkler Tools - Define your outline of the area, set the head type, head radius, and spray overlap percentage and Planner automatically diagrams your head layout. The Irrigation Coverage Tool fills the head symbols in with a gradient light blue fill, this allow you to see area which are over or under saturated with water. The Create Sprinkler Tool allow you to select a precise spray angle on a dynamic head.
New Symbols - We've added over 300 new, non-linked, to your symbol library. These include symbols with gradient color fills, grayscale outlines and a large variety of other symbols.
More Hatch Pattern - You'll find 25 new hatch patterns in your pattern library. These give you a better variety of paver hatch patterns.
PROPOSAL
QuickBooks Integration - Improved QuickBooks integration allowed synchronization of customer list from QuickBooks which eliminates duplicate entries.
New Customer Selection Window - Allows quick selection of customers from listing.
Longer Item Description - Now you can extend the common name field on the pricing tab to show several additional lines of description on quote preview.
